Jason Lyle Black, “The Backwards Piano Man┬«”, is an award-winning virtuoso pianist and musical comedian. Jason creates incredible piano adaptations of popular songs, such as “The Evolution of Taylor Swift” or his adaptations of film scores by Hans Zimmer or John Williams.

Jason is also well known as a musical comedian, both for his hilarious upside down and backwards piano playing, as well as for his lyrical parodies of pop hits, such as the Star Wars-themed song “Shut Up and Duel With Me.”

Jason has shared the stage with many notable performers, including Jon Schmidt of The Piano Guys, William Joseph, Nathan Pacheco, and comedian Hank Smith. Jason’s backwards piano playing has been seen worldwide, with appearances both on the Ellen Degeneres Show in Hollywood as well as on live television in Tokyo, Japan.

On YouTube, Jason has amassed over 8 million views for his videos, which have been featured by The Huffington Post, Yahoo, Seventeen Magazine, and Good Morning America.
